Baby Shower Prize Gifts
Hosting a Baby Shower for my Daughter. This is our fourth grandchild and "It's a Boy". After searching all over Pinterest and the web for party prizes I came up with something not so traditional, and since my next hobby is going to be jewelry making I decided to go that route. Instead of giving baby gifts to give the Mom To Be I put together a few charms for a charm bracelet into some gift bags. At the start of the party we will give her the empty bracelet. As we play games the winner will pull one out of the cute bouquet and add it to the bracelet. I thought it would be new and fun. This way she can always use it.
So I used items from the local dollar store.
*Clear tule gift bags (the bags looked like a bouquet of flowers which gave me the idea) *Ribbons
*White package stuffing
*A brandy glass
*Variety of charms I got at Hobby Lobby
The total at the dollar store was $6. Hobby Lobby had their charms for about $1.47-$1.99 per charm. The bracelet was about $5 but of course I had my 40% off coupon.

My daughter got an American Doll for Christmas last year. Since accessories are so expensive we find ways to make our own. Yesterday we made her a picnic basket out of..
* A small packaging box (an aspirin box).
* Burlap material
* Hot glue gun
* Metal brads
* Foam (for the lid)
* Simple embellishments
